Tamsin trained at Cardiff Art School, originally studying Fine Art. She then move on to do a MA in Printmaking at Wimbledon School of Art.
In 2014 she discovered a new passion for clay, drawn to its magical fluidity. Her background in fine art and surface decoration influenced the surface texturing of her pieces to resemble woodgrain and the wet sand of the seashore.
The forms, whilst being inspired by nature, are always practical. Her palette is delicate: chalky, jade greens and blues or matt whites, again enhancing the tactile, textural quality of her work.
