Allen Richards studied ceramics at Wolverhampton. He throws stoneware and porcelain forms, which he turns to add precision carving to before he glazes.

 

The broad palette of glazes are formulated by Alan, who enjoys the process of experimenting with minerals and oxides to produce their expressive reduction glazes and lustres.

 

Allen is a member of Westcountry Potters and show throughout the UK.
