Trudy Shard is an Interior Designer and Potter based in Bath.

Specialising in small batch and one-off wheel thrown ceramics, Trudy started her pottery career taking evening courses in London.  She then moved to Bath and became an Open Studio member at Bath Artists Studios, where she has developed her practice. She focuses on making practical pieces for the home, including tableware, decorative accessories and vases.

A background in architecture and design, has given Trudy a sense of proportion, detail and scale that she applies to ­her work. Trudy draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of sources, including art and design, architecture, and her love of cinema. She brings a simple, graphic and playful approach to her finished pieces.
