Pea Restall

Pea Restall, makes sculptural and decorative ceramics. She uses the technique of majolica painting tinglazed terracotta forms that are both lively in form and ‘communicative’ in decoration. Pea’s work ranges from huge platters that are virtually three-dimensional paintings to tiny playful kittens and decorative spoons.

Pea teaches part time on several courses throughout North Wales including the Fine Art and Ceramics BA course at Coleg Menai, Bangor. She also runs workshops for adults and children, and has been Liverpool Children's festival clay artist for two years 2008/7.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michele Snowdon Bream, nr Lydney, Gloucestershire Michele Snowdon, an art teacher, broadened her training by completing a B.Tech course in Ceramics at The Royal Forest of Dean College and set up her ceramics studio at her home in the Forest of Dean. Michelle makes wheel-thrown, stoneware bowls, mugs and jugs decorated with lively and colourful motifs painted on the warm background of the natural clay. Her pots are suitable for microwave and dishwasher use.
