NED HEYWOOD

NED HEYWOOD produces a range of wheel thrown, large serving bowls and dishes, jugs and vases. His ware combines strong timeless shapes with the depth and beauty of classic reduction fired glazes, making his ware both beautiful and functional.

In his stoneware sculpture he uses clay to express ideas about landscape, architecture and the human form.

Ned also undertakes large and challenging commissions for architectural ceramics for both interior and exterior walls of offices, hotels, supermarkets, etc. Above his workshop in Chepstow, Ned runs a gallery which shows a varied programme of exhibitions of the work of leading UK potters.
