About Potters 
POTTERS is located in central Bristol, in a thriving arts and crafts district near the historic Christmas Steps, the Bristol City Art Gallery and the Bristol Royal Infirmary. 

POTTERS was established in 1996 as a co-operative to exhibit the work of more than thirty craft potters and ceramic artists.  Together we work to promote and sell the best of British ceramics.  POTTERS offer a friendly atmosphere in which to browse, with a diverse range of ceramics to enjoy and the opportunity to discuss how the work is designed and made.

Our pottery includes:

Throughout the year POTTERS organise exhibitions and special sales and events when members of the public are invited to try their hand at making pottery with our expert help.

POTTERS’ Ethos 
POTTERS welcome enquiries.  We are committed to informing the public about the art of working in clay and invite you to share in our passion for this very versatile and adaptable material.  POTTERS is staffed by members whose work is on display.  By being closely involved in the running of the shop, we can provide customers with a wealth of information based on our experience.  POTTERS is a not-for-profit organisation which allows us to keep the operational costs to a minimum, so we are able to offer this exceptional range of work at very competitive prices. 

Members are selected on the basis of their work being of an acceptable standard of craftsmanship and adding something new to the vibrant range of work already available in the shop.  All our pottery is designed and made in Britain by individual makers or partnerships. 

The AGM is an opportunity for members to get together over lunch and establish the business for the year.  Any full member is eligible to be on the governing body which meets quarterly.
